Family Researcher/ Owner/Certified Genealogist
One of the benefits of living in the digital age is that I have access to many sources of knowledge, such as websites, books, societies, libraries, etc. However, I also learned that not everything I read or hear is true or reliable. Sometimes, people spread false or misleading information, either intentionally or unintentionally. That's why I always try to verify the information I find before I accept it as a fact. I like to think of it as a puzzle: if the piece doesn't fit, I look for the piece that will fit.
